Apple's Quadra 900 is currently positioned as the most powerful computer in the Macintosh family. Its Motorola 68040 processor makes it a fast workstation for complex graphic design. Its high-speed SCSI port allows it to be used as a faster and more efficient server. The speed of the processor along with the improved sound quality makes it the ideal tool for making multimedia presentations using still or moving images.

Along with this machine and its younger sister the Quadra 700, Apple recently introduced three models of laptops to the market: The PowerBook 100, PowerBook 140 and PowerBook 170. These models, in addition to being small and light, can be easily connected like any other laptop model. the Macintosh family, to a computer network to read or write information as well as to share printing resources.

The printersApple lasers have been significantly improved in functionality at a much more affordable price. The PowerBook 170 laptop allows an internal Modem to send FAXes directly from the computer, or connect via telephone to a remote computer network.

For multimedia presentations, Apple allows direct inclusion of sound and still images, and now using a direct extension to the Macintosh 7.0 operating system called QuickTime and a video capture card, movie segments can be included directly. This attached to the capability to search and select information, as well as the speed and quality with which color images can be displayed on the computer screen, allow for high-quality interactive audiovisual programs.

With this new line of products, Apple Computer's, the company that started the computer revolution that we are experiencing today, and that simplified the way of using the computer in order to obtain the power to be better, continues at the technological forefront, ensuring that the revolution continues.
